Wall of Sound PR

About Wall Of Sound PR

Established in August 2012, Wall Of Sound PR is an independent Liverpool-based boutique press agency specialising in alternative music, with an ear for the unusual and an open mind.

Our staff come from a music industry background that spans promotion, booking, artist management, independent labels, event production, journalism and time spent as professional touring and recording musicians, giving us an innate and broad understanding of the music industry at large. We provide a personal and professional service to artists of all sizes, working with key alternative publications including Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Louder Than War, Vive Le Rock, Artrocker, Upset, DIY, NME, PROG, Classic Rock, Q, Clash Magazine, Metal Hammer and many more.

Whilst we specialise primarily in online and print press for alternative music, we can also work specialist radio and TV plugging and we’ve previously secured plays with the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC6 Music, Radio X, Kerrang! Radio, Team Rock, Total Rock, Amazing Radio, Kerrang! TV, Scuzz TV and MTV. We’re also looking to the future of PR in the digital age, and working increasingly with innovative new platforms for digital exposure including Spotify, Soundcloud, Reddit and many more.

We are always happy to speak about creating tailored campaigns for clients, taking into consideration price and budget, and are flexible on rates for independent and unsigned acts.

“Wall Of Sound PR were one of the first companies I started to work with as a writer and they have always been incredibly easy to work with. After progressing to the editor role, we maintained a great working relationship and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wall Of Sound PR to artists looking to get more promotion and coverage for themselves. A very reliable and trustworthy company.”Natalie Humphries, Editor – Soundscape Magazine

As part of our desire to make Wall of Sound PR a socially conscious, ethical and sustainable business we donate a percentage of our profits each month to a charity that we feel needs immediate financial support. We would like to thank all of our clients and colleagues for your continued support and for enabling us to regularly support charity work in this way.

This month’s charity is The Trevor Project. Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
