Liverpool, London and Manchester based ‘virtual hardcore’ collective TOKKY HORROR are pleased to announce they will release a new compilation album titled Home Recordings: 2020 – 2021 on 5th November 2021 via Alcopop! Records.

Brand new single ‘Show No Mercy’ is out now, and features on the album alongside new tracks, exclusive remixes, and previously-released material from their debut EP I Found The Answers And Now I Want More.

Commenting on the track, producer Zee Davine says: “‘Show No Mercy’ is the last of the home recordings we put together over the recent lockdowns and feels like a fitting end to this era of the project. I think you can hear both our worlds here—it’s sort of bass music meets black metal. It sounds nuts but it’s where we want to take things; huge sounding heavy music that’s still danceable. Crying in the club is in.”

Home Recordings: 2020 – 2021 will be available in digital and physical formats, with the extended CD release featuring bonus material ‘Pingerz (feat. Phonewifey)’ and remixes from the Gullyteen, Dan Larkin, Bobby Starchild and Tom Sennitt.

The trio’s first ever UK tour dates in November 2021 are on sale now, with Leeds, Bristol and Nottingham all SOLD OUT well in advance (see below for listings).

Previously-released singles ‘Girlracer’ and ‘Simulate Me’ picked up spins from Tom Robinson at BBC 6music, John Kennedy at Radio X, BBC introducing, Hoxton Radio and a host of digital specialist shows, receiving national press support from DIY, CLASH, Discovered Magazine and UPSET magazine, and many more blogs, zines and regional music mags.

After recently supporting Wargasm and Mandidextrous (RAM Records), the individual band members have also been busy with their own projects, as Zee Davine continues their monthly Melodic Distraction radio residency and Divinity club night (feat. Grove, Samurai Breaks, Dobbs, DJ Soyboi, Prosek, Mai Mai Mai), and Ava Akira’s latest single ‘Purgatory (feat. ZAND)’ was recently featured by DUMMY.
