LIVE SKULL Rail Against Trump Administration On ‘What Could Go Wrong?’

21st October 2026 • •

NYC post-punk/experimental noise icons LIVE SKULL are today sharing their new single and title track from their forthcoming album, What Could Go Wrong?, released on 21st October 2026 via Bronson Recordings.

Elect a notorious liar and convicted felon, ask yourself…’What Could Go Wrong?’ The title track to Live Skull’s new LP is a call to action, with the aggressive rhythm of the guitar riff that kick-start’s the song driving the music forward in a march that builds to an urgent gallop.

Commenting on the new track, front man Mark C says: “It’s a lesson learned, watching history as it began to unfold before us on TV as the January 6 rioters stormed the capitol and tried to overturn a free and fair election. Momentarily stunned, we never imagined the perpetrator of this travesty would once again be elected President and continue to roll like a mob boss! And yes, we know the enablers are just as much to blame for what has come to pass,  there’s so much riding on this team of rag tag con artists, I want to know, who voted them in?”

“What Could Go Wrong? when you elect a convicted felon and notorious liar to the presidency. What could go wrong, when they fire experts and replace them with sycophants and party hacks, when they let Fox news hosts run the world’s most dangerous military, when they confirm an anti-vaxxer as Secretary of Health and Human Services? What could go wrong? is Live Skull’s battle cry, and we trust you are all as alarmed as we are!”

The track is the latest to be taken from their fourth studio album since reforming, What Could Go Wrong?, which will be released on 13th November 2026 via Bronson Recordings.

The album was recorded and mixed by the band themselves at Deepsea—Mark C’s studio in Hoboken, NJ—the vintage factory building is Live Skull’s home base, where bands like Yo La Tengo and Sonic Youth have also based studios.

The band will play the album live in full at a special pre-release party on 11th November 2026 at Main Drag Music in Brooklyn, NYC. Support comes from Philly no wavers Luna Honey and Brooklyn’s own The Dice Holes.

Reverberations of the early 20th century industrial landscape shine through in Live Skull’s very alive onslaught, reminiscent of the early grinding sound that grew out of Mark C.’s raw Noho loft space back in the day.

Lead single ‘Internal Combustion’ and follow up ‘Freak Out! Jackpot’ were released earlier this year to support from Spotify’s All New Rock, DORK Magazine, Classic Rock Magazine, The Big Takeover Magazine, Scene Point Blank and more, with further live dates TBA.
