About Wall Of Sound PR

who we are

Established in August 2012, Wall Of Sound PR is a boutique public relations and digital marketing agency focusing on nurturing a diverse and interesting roster of high quality alternative and underground music.

Since our inception, we’ve worked on hundreds of record releases, as well as providing bespoke PR campaigns for brands, events, media personalities and music-related businesses.

Our staff come from an independent music industry background spanning previous roles in promotion, digital marketing, booking, artist management, record labels, event production, and journalism, plus time spent as professional touring and recording musicians. This wealth of experience gives our team an innate and broad understanding of the music industry at large.

We’re always happy to speak about creating tailored campaigns for clients, and are flexible on rates for independent and unsigned acts, taking a long-term view of growing our relationships and services alongside the careers and needs of our clients.

With our online and print press services, you can be sure your music is getting in front of some of the most influential names in the music press. Just a few of the established music publications we work with include:

Alongside our online and print press campaigns, we also now offer dedicated specialist radio plugging, and we’ve previously secured track plays and live sessions with some of the biggest stations in the UK, including:

We’re also looking to the future of PR and marketing in the industry, working increasingly with editorial teams at digital service providers like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, VEVO, Soundcloud, and Bandcamp to plug and promote your tracks, and expand your reach.

Alongside all this, our new digital marketing services can also take the hassle out of social media management and advertising, helping you to grow your fan base organically, creating meaningful and impactful relationships with your audience, whilst converting interactions and engagement into tangible sales of your music, merchandise, and tickets.

"The experience and passion Wall of Sound PR bring to our releases is reflected in the results. Professional, enthusiastic and forward thinking, Jamie and the team are a joy to work with."

"One of the best."
Stephen Ackroyd
The Bunker Publishing (DORK/UPSET)
“I’ve worked with Wall of Sound PR on a couple of campaigns over the past year and have nothing but good things to say. Extremely communicative, reliable and creative, we couldn’t have asked for more, and look forward to working together on other projects in the future.”
Kev Douch
Big Scary Monsters Records
“Working with Wall of Sound PR has been a great experience for us, and it’s rare that we’ve worked with a more industrious never-say-die PR. Efficient, bloody lovely and getter of great results – we would recommend them to anyone.”
Jack Clothier
Alcopop! Records
"[Wall of Sound PR] killed it on the campaign. The more people I come across that have worked with them, the more it seems like they are one of the good guys in a swampy industry.”
Vlad Matveikov
Small Pond Recordings
"I have worked with Jamie on many campaigns over the last 10 years, most recently Gogol Bordello. We achieved all of our targets and then some, and I believe this is due to Jamie's passion for his craft as well as the artist. I can't wait to run more campaigns together."
Tom Newman
Product & Marketing Manager, Cooking Vinyl
“I’m so thankful for your work on this campaign. It far exceeded my expectations. I’m very wary of publicists, but you all have been really amazing.”
Mike Park
