BELLEVUE DAYS Lose Their Religion In ‘Faith’ Video

23rd June 2017

Croydon-based sludge pop/alt-rock four piece, Bellevue Days, are pleased to reveal the video for their new single ‘Faith’ which is released on 22nd June 2017 following it’s premiere with DIY Magazine earlier this week. The track is the latest to be taken from their new EP Rosehill released on 4th July 2017 – see below for full track list and artwork.

‘Faith’ marks the vocal debut of band member Dan Lukes, who takes over singing duties this time around from band-mate Alan Smith, the band’s long-term frontman whose vocals took the spotlight on all of Bellevue Days’ previous singles.

“Dan (guitar/vocals) originally wrote ‘Faith’ over a year ago” say the band of the new song “It was only when we started writing our third EP we thought about giving it a go in the band. We pretty much pulled it apart from its original acoustic form and had a play around. Dan wrote the song about his friend who was having a hard time and whose religion wasn’t helping the matter at all, and it’s about getting through and overcoming all those obstacles in life on your own.”

The band worked with long-time collaborator and photographer Christian Fenton for the music video, on which they comment “we wanted something pretty raw and dark. It’s a bit of a polar opposite from our last single and we think that’s pretty cool.”

Bellevue Days will be appearing at several festivals this summer inclusing 200 Trees and Citadel, before hitting the road for a run of August UK tour dates with Patrons, and another stint of October UK dates with The Young Hearts.

Rosehill is released 4th July 2017
