Fireball’s Hottest Band 2018 LOST IN STEREO Reveal Video For New Single ‘Gold’

8th November 2018

Ahead of their appearance on this year’s ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire’ Tour in December, Fireball’s Hottest Band 2018, Glasgow pop-punks Lost in Stereo, are pleased to reveal the video for their brand new single ‘Gold’.

The quartet will be appearing alongside Flogging Molly, The Bronx, and Face To Face on this year’s ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire’ Tour which returns for a third year next month, once more celebrating the best in punk rock, ska, reggae and roots music.

The first of two London nights and the Bristol date of the tour are now SOLD OUT with tickets for the remaining dates shifting quickly.

Lost In Stereo’s new track is the follow up to previous single ‘Save Me’, and the video for the single—recorded and mixed by Chris Marshall at 7 West Studios and mastered by Ed Woods—was filmed and edited by Carrick McLelland at Ground Level Up.

Commenting on the video shoot, the band said: “We had so much fun shooting this music video! We tried to change things up since the last one and kept it light-hearted and a bit daft really. The idea was to give it a summery feel and showcase our characters whilst making it fit with the song, so naturally we bought loads of giant inflatable palm trees, spray painted them gold and had a fight.”

Guitarist Andrew Paterson elaborates on the song itself: “This was a song Ellis (Hill, vocals & bass) wrote a while back on his acoustic, but I put it on the back burner as he never really thought it would be a full band piece. He played it to all of us and we all loved it and it all spiralled from there. We wanted to write a song that could connect with just about anyone when it comes to falling for someone and used our own experiences as inspiration. It’s one of the favourite songs we’ve written.”
