Kississippi Sign To Alcopop! Records – Debut Album ‘Sunset Blush’ Released Digitally Today

6th April 2018

Alcopop! Records are delighted to announce they have signed Philadelphia’s KISSISSIPPI for the UK/EU physical release of their debut album Sunset Blush which is out digitally via all good service providers today.

Listen here:

The album will be available later this Spring (details TBC) as a limited 12″ run of pink and yellow splatter on clear vinyl and is available to preorder now from www.ilovealcopop.co.uk

Commenting on the news, label boss Jack Clothier said: “We’re so delighted to have been asked to work with Kississippi on this new record. It’s just glorious really, isn’t it? Not to mention the fact that we could get a slab of vinyl out that’s going to look scintillating! We can’t wait to get the band over to the UK.”

When you look up the definition of the word “perseverance” you should see a photo of Philadelphia musician Zoe Reynolds. On her band Kississippi’s forthcoming debut Sunset Blush, out digitally April 6, Reynolds airs out all of her trauma and shortcomings just to subsequently knock them down later.

Her ability to effortlessly jump between “I’ve got this” levels of confidence and whispered confessions of her vulnerabilities makes Sunset Blush an undeniably charismatic and engaging piece of art.

Kississippi’s full U.S. run alongside Dashboard Confessional and Beach Slang is about halfway through, with just a handful of dates left including the Hollywood Palladium on April 21. Shortly after, Zoe will embark on a solo tour as direct support for Have Mercy’s The Earth Pushed Back 5-year anniversary tour.
