Following the release of 2025 singles ‘Great British Pig’ and ‘Mona’, Brighton four-piece The Roebucks return with a bang via brand new single ‘He’s My Man’ – out Tuesday 10th February 2026 on tastemaker indie label Goo Records.

All new wave guitars, soaring vocal harmonies and a dynamite chorus, ‘He’s My Man’ jumps out the speakers like Blondie at their peak if they were covering ‘Leader Of The Pack’ by The Shangri-Las – replete even with spoken-word intro “Well, what’s he like?"

On this third single for Goo, drumming vocalist powerhouse Sophie Moloney is on lead vocal duties this time around, and delivers a blistering performance as she tells the tale of her unrequited love for her hero, Bruce Springsteen: “The dark we’re dancing, stolen glances, just to look at your smile”.

Produced and mixed by Ben Hillier (Blur, Depeche Mode, Doves, Nadine Shah) at his Agricultural Audio studios in rural Sussex, The Roebucks reveal this about how ‘He’s My Man’ came together: “Tom brought the song to the band as a swampy rock tune called ‘She's My Girl’. Once Sophie added her heartfelt/lustful words about Bruce Springsteen, it became 'He's My Man'. We worked with Ben Hillier to really capture our sound by recording it as live as possible, all together in one room. He’s helped us create what we pictured in our heads – a song by an imagined 1960s girl band who’ve turned their guitars up to the max.”

This new single provides a tantalising taste of the rawer, dirtier and more powerful sound the band are moving towards as they get ready for an exciting and busy 2026.
