snake eyes reveal new single ‘lean’ out now via alcopop! records

13th September 2023

brighton-based grit pop trio snake eyes are delighted to reveal their brand new single ‘lean’, which is out now via alcopop! Records.

backed by everyone from radio 1 to radio xclash magazine to fred perry, the three piece—who recently bid farewell to founding bassist nicole gill and welcomed new member gaby monaghan (petsematary) on bass duties —are back with slamming new single ‘lean’, co-produced and mixed by josh harrison (royal blood, snayx, sea power).

commenting on the new single, vocalist jim heffy says: “this one’s a hard hitter about self belief. despite feelings of negativity, hopelessness and existentialism, being aware of your self worth is an important thing and has been for me lately. spin it. turn it up. lean into yourself.”

never the sort of band to rest on their laurels, and always keen to keep the energy high and the pedal to the floor, the power trio are also delighted to announce they will be main support to the xcerts on their upcoming october uk tour dates, with the trio revealing an extensive run of their own eu/uk headline tour dates running throughout september, october and november 2023 – tickets are on sale now (see below for uk listings).

2023 has been quite the year for brighton’s snake eyes: heading out on their first ever headline tour to packed and sold out rooms across the uk, releasing the health ep via new label home alcopop! records, and boasting a chaotic festival season including sets at truck, ynot, leopallooza, teddy rocks, tiffcuff, left of the dial and a whopping 4 performances at the great escape.

further new music and live dates will be revealed over the coming months from this relentless trio.
